YAJ means Young AJ.

Since his mom brought him to the basketball practice at a young age, AJ noticed his „sauce“, which came through in the way he played.

His sauce is the element, that makes his art and production fresh, clean and unique.

AJ was born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany. When he stoped playing basketball at the age of 17, he started messin‘ around and ended up ballin in some different ways. AJ focused more on improving his creative vision within music and visuals. Besides that music was always part of AJ getting a clear mind.

“What started in our neighborhoods, school and on the basketball court quickly went to serious freestyles and studio sessions with my friends.” Finally YIN, AYLN and YAJ started their artist collective „NME“ to represent their lifestyle and passion for music.
